Gen Z or “zoomers”, refers to the generation that was born between 1997-2012, following millennials. Research has shown Gen Z members are more fluid and diverse than any previous generation. This generation constantly challenges traditional beauty standards as they shift to embrace diverse skin tone ideals that are no longer focused solely on being as fair as possible, they are also seeking to embrace their natural skin tone to express their personal beauty.
A popular international company would like to transform the skincare industry in Asia by creating a product that lifts beauty standards beyond just whitening, to bring out the best in their customers’ natural skin tones.
The beauty industry is only just catching up with supporting women in starting to feel proud of their natural skin tone, and so the client needs your help to develop a new skincare product to improve skin tone (such as moisturizer, essence, toner, serum, face mask, cleanser, supplement, etc.) that will encourage young females, particularly female Asians, aged 20-29, to embrace their natural skin tone.
