When I entered this contest, I was a student in my last year of a commerce degree. I used my eYeka entry to help get a job at an advertising agency which was a dream come true for me. I wanted to enter because it was a good way for me to hone my craft and scratch my creative itch. I think the idea was born out of trying to imagine how my small home town could become a bit more exciting and a desire to practice some newly-acquired AfterEffects skills. When I learned I'd won $30,000 you might think I had a crazy big party, but no, I bought me and my flatmates pizza for dinner. I saved the prize money and recently spent it travelling Latin America for 6 months which created some of the best memories of my life so far.
