Brief

Contexte

A new product will be launched shortly and communicate around the idea of #goodweird.

Why? Well because this product is different, it isn’t the same as its competitors and not for everyone either. But it isn’t different just for the sake of it, it is useful and better, that makes it weird but it’s good! That’s #goodweird. The people the product is aimed at are 16 -35 years old and they are creative. They are designers, artists, dj’s, film makers etc. They see themselves as different to the others and they like to stand out. They don’t like brands that are mainstream because they don’t want to be like sheep and copy the masses. So they tend to pick products and brands because of their design. They like to be the first to get something and they use brands as “badges”, to express something about themselves.

They love anything that is #goodweird. But that said… we feel it’s hard to define what #goodweird is, because it’s subjective. This is when you come into the equation! We need YOU, the most creative and good people in the world (who said you are weird too?) to tell us what you think #goodweird is!

Défi Créatif

Create or find images, news stories, design features, products, situation that represents #goodweird in your own interpretation.

The way we would like you to work: either you take photos of things you see around you or you pick visuals or pictures and videos on the internet. If you want to submit a video, take a screengrab of the most iconic moment of the situation and add a link in the media description.

#goodweird manifests everywhere: in the news, on TV, websites. (It can be an object, a service, a sport, a situation, a food…)

Watch-out though! We don’t want to see the same Internet memes and things that are already famous.

Surprise us and make us think: “Oh yes, this is weird, but it’s also really cool”. It should not be something that is only silly or frivolous, it’s something that’s better than an existing thing. The idea is not of being different just for the sake of it. It’s being different for the sake of being better.

Something important you should know: not only we ask you to upload your #goodweird ideas but also to evaluate the ones coming from your peers creators. We think you are the best placed to select and tell us which are the most powerful ideas to express #goodweird. Use the Feedback Circle to do so.

Critères de Sélection

We are expecting simple, easy to understand print ads or videos. Prizes will go to the #goodweird examples that speak immediately to people while being creative and original.

  • You can pick visuals or pictures on the internet or you can take photos of things you see around you. Don’t create an illustration, we’d like to see things that exist in the real world, not a product of your imagination.
  • Keep in mind: good weird is: clever, original. It’s not: silly, mainstream.
  • Use the hashtag #goodweird on your visual.
  • Your entry has to be in English

Contraintes habituelles d'eYeka

  • N'affichez aucune information personnelle dans votre création (nom, numéro de téléphone, adresse e-mail, etc.)
  • Gardez sur votre ordinateur une version non-compressée de votre création, qui sera utilisée si vous êtes sélectionné parmi les gagnants.
  • Afin de pouvoir concourir, votre média doit être votre propre création.
  • Vous devez obtenir l'autorisation écrite de chacun des auteurs et acteurs ayant participé au média.
  • Précisez dans la description de votre média si vous êtes l'auteur ou non de la musique et/ou des images utilisées. Si vous avez utilisé des éléments (musique, photos, dessins, etc.) dont vous n'êtes pas le propriétaire, transmettez-nous les informations concernant la licence vous concédant les droits d'utilisation.
  • eYeka vous demandera de fournir des preuves écrites ou une copie de tous les documents écrits étayant de telles autorisations et permettant à eYeka et à ses clients d'utiliser le média conformément aux Conditions Générales du concours.
  • Tout média ne se conformant pas avec ce règlement, sera exclu du concours.
